The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo. Splinter is a rat that is their sensei. A sensei is a Japanese way to say teacher, master, or professional. Shredder is a demonic tengu that is evil and he leads the foot clan who are ninjas.
The TMNT started as a comic book in 1984 made by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. the other stuff that they’ve been in is movies, books, tv show, video games, and fortnite.
Leonardo is a turtle with a blue stripe, Donatello has a purple stripe, Raphael has a red stripe, and Michelangelo has a orange stripe. The turtles originally got named after Italian renaissance artists like Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael.

Raphael’s weapon is a twin sai and the story behind the twin sai is it originated in China and was brought to Japan by Chinese monks. Donatello’s weapon is the bo staff which originated in Okinawa. Michelangelo’s weapon is the Dual nunchaku and it originated in Okinawa. Leonardo’s weapon is the dual katana and it originated in Japan.
